I don’t know that you will take the following description a joke or my illusion, but we experienced them many times in our family. 1- If any one sees the new moon and then have a look on a newborn baby then the whole month the child falls often. 2- If you see any kind of person while looking at the new moon, the month is spent in that way. If that person is quarrelsome, then there will be a chance of quarrel. If the person is generous, then there will be abundance of money and if you see the moon while traveling, then you will travel a lot in that month. I am telling you the experienced thing. Allah is the doer of all things. This is just a tip. Recite prayer while looking at the moon, the month will be as spent as you wanted it to be.
